Homework will be given for a week at a time. It will go home on Tuesdays and will be due back the following Monday.
Homework includes: reading at least 20 minutes every night, practicing word wall words, math games or practice pages, and an additional activity on reading comprehension, research or writing.
BOOK-IN-A-BAG: Each night you will take home a Book-in- a- Bag. You must read, then write down in your reading log:- The date
- Title of the book
- The number of minutes read
- The pages you read
- A parent/adult must sign or initial each night

I suggest that you and your child set up a schedule for doing homework. This way you can plan days and times to complete assignments, avoiding having to do all homework in one night. Homework should be done in a bright area, free of distractions like T.V. or radio. A desk or table where your child can spread out and really concentrate on his/her learning is best.
